Speed ferries between Poreč and Venice


The cities are 102 km away from each other and the catamaran ride takes about 2.5 hours. Passport / EU ID required! Please, read here more information about the trip and about Venice.

Trips to Venice begin here in the second half of April and end in the first half of October. In July and August trips are going every day.
Bus transfer is available from Mareda, Novigrad, Lanterna, Cervar, Laguna Materada and Park, Plava and Zelena Laguna, Funtana, and from Vrsar.
On some days, bus transportation from Umag is available as well.
For travellers coming alone, the check-in and departure point is the customs pier in Poreč. Address: Obala Marsala Tita next to the hotel Valamar Riviera (follow the link in description of parking). In Venice, will dock in the port of San Basilio.

Price of the day trip for all boats: from 520 HRK per adult.

Day trip by San Pawl

This journey by the catamaran San Pawl, sails every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 1st May to 6th October, every Tuesday from 18. of June to 3. of September, every Thursday from 20 June to 19 September 2019. In the period from 2. of July to 25. of August, the trip goes every day.

Boat San Pawl Approximate itinerary:

07:30 check-in Poreč
08:00 departure.
10:45 arrival in Venice and free time for sightseeing.
17:15 departure (Terminal San Basilio)
20:00 return to the starting point.

Bus shuttle is free.

One-way drive by San Pawl

From Poreč to Italy (and vice versa), the price for the adults is from 445 HRK to 630 HRK for the adults and from 295 HRK to 385 HRK for the children from 4 to 14 years. Prices are subject to change depending on availability and period. In the both cases the bus shuttle is not available.

Description of the ship.

The San Pawl catamaran is 35.20 meters long, 11.5 meters wide and has a top speed of 50 knots. It has 4 toilets, a bar offering hot and cold soft drinks, as well as alcoholic drinks and simple meals such as croissants, sandwiches, chocolates, and sweets. Produced in Norway, equipped with modern devices for navigation and fully air-conditioned. Drive of 2 engines with 2550 HP and the construction with air cushion provide speed and stability.



Day trip by Prince of Venice

This journey by the catamaran Prince of Venice, goes every Thursday, in the period from 9th May to 24th October, every Tuesday from 30th April to 24th September, every Saturday from 20th April to 12th October, every Friday from 28th June to 13th September and every Monday from 1st July to 2nd 2019. From 19th July to 17th August, the boat is driving every day except Wednesday.

One-way drive by Prince of Venice

In this variant, the price is 485 HRK in the both directions and can be provided on request. In those case the local bus is available in Croatia and cost 30 HRK per adult.

We can also help you find a cost-effective common shuttle or private car pick-up, through the services of our partners, upon arrival by boat to Poreč.

Description of the ship.

The boat Prince of Venice is 39.6 m long and 15.6 m wide. The maximum speed is 29 knots. Made in Australia, equipped with modern navigation devices and powered by 2 motors (2 x 1,435 kW = 2,870 kW). Aluminum hull design ensures comfort and stability even in the undulating sea. The ship has bar, toilets, and full air condition.
For pets and bicycles, a registration is required.

PARKING for a car in the neighbourhood of the see cost 10 Kn per hour and 80 kn per day. Entry to parking is vis a vis address: Partizanska ulica 4, 52440 Poreč, and the distance to harbour is about 900 m. Better is to park on the bus station in the centre (7 Kn per hour and 80 kn per day). The cheapest parking is next sports hall ZATIKA.
