The island of Sveti Jerolim: description, gallery and boat trips to it

On this page, there is a short description of the island of Sveti Jerolim, a gallery of pictures taken on it, and a list of excursions from Broc that visit it.

  • Sveti Jerolim is a small island with an area of 0.125 square kilometers and a beach length of 1.554 km. It is ellipsoidal in shape, with a maximum length of about 580 m and an average width of about 200 m. It is located in the southern part of the Brijuni archipelago and is the closest to Pula's port of all the islands in the archipelago. The sea is very clean, making the island a popular destination for boat trips from Pula and Fažana (such as fish picnics and panoramic rides). The island has a restaurant, plenty of shade, and beautiful natural beaches. Showers and toilets are available to all visitors.
  • The vegetation and animals are also very interesting, which you can see in our gallery. Surprisingly, peacocks are permanently settled on the island.
  • If you visit this island, you should definitely bring everything you need for swimming and sunbathing, as these items cannot be purchased here (towels, masks, fins, plastic sea shoes, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen). We also recommend bringing cameras and camcorders (or at least smartphones), as the island offers many fascinating photography opportunities.
  • The island got its name from the monastery and church of Saint Jerome that used to be on the island. They disappeared during the period of stone exploitation from this island.
  • Pets are allowed, and their entry is free.
  • If the entrance fee is not included in the excursion price, it costs €5 for adults and €3 for children.
