Venice by catamaran
A passport / EU ID is required for the travel! Please check all travel conditions. The direct line from Umag to Venice has been reintroduced, and runs every Wednesday from July 2nd to August 27th, 2025.
Also, there are the trips, where the journey begins by bus to the port of Poreč or port of Piran (Slovenia) and then by catamaran to Venice. More about the trip and Venice. The catamarans are Prince of Venice and Anđela.
The bus transfer is organized from the area that stretches from Novigrad to the border with Slovenia. There are tourist resorts: Kanegra, Savudrija, Zambratija, Polynesia and Stella Maris and hotels Coral, Garden Istra, Aurora, Umag and Sipar. It is also possible to transfer from the AC Finida, AC Park Umag, AC Mareda campsites.
Important! In case you book this trip online by us, you need to send us voucher number that you received in your e-mail and for all passengers, please: names and family names, dates of born, nationality, sex, number of your travel document (passport or ID).
A bus shuttle (except in case of personal arrival in the port of Umag) and guide are included in the price. For all trips, children up to 11.99 pay half price and children up to 2.99 go free. The tourist tax for entering Venice is not included in the price.
Umag-Venice, directly
The course of the trip with the departure of the ship from the port of Umag:

Umag-Venice via Poreč
The course of the trip, with the departure of the ship from the port of Poreč:
- 06:00 bus transfer from Umag to Poreč.

For trips in the low season (from May 8 to June 28 and from September 1 to October 3, 2025), the price for adults is €95.00. For trips in the high season (from June 29 to August 31), the price is €105.00. Departure days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Umag-Venice via Piran
The course of the trip, via Piran, every Saturday:
- 06:30 bus transfer from Umag to Piran.
- 07:30 entrance control before boarding.

- 11:15 arrival in Venice and free time for sightseeing.
- 16:30 entrance control-port of San Basilio, Venice.
- 17:00 departure of the ship from Venice.

Fish picnic from Novigrad with bus shuttle from Umag
Transportation from Umag to Novigrad is organized by bus or car. The boat (Matek) departs from the port around 09:00. Upon arrival in Rovinj, there will be lunch and a 2-hour break. After that, go to the Lim Channel, where swimming is possible. Return to Umag at around 18:30. A detailed description of the trip is here.
Price for adults: €55.00, children from 7 to 13.99 years 50%, and children up to 6.99 years free. Price includes: guide, bus shuttle, welcome drink and lunch containing grilled fish or meat (there is also a vegetarian menu), bread, salad. Aquavision - glass bottom catamaran
Aquavision offers a two-hour boat cruise along Umag Riviera. You will enjoy the beautiful view of the Punta, Stella Maris and Katoro, and the famous lighthouse in Savudrija, the oldest Croatian lighthouse. The boat Sveti Pelegrin has a glass bottom that allows passengers underwater sightseeing during the cruise. Stops are at the most interesting locations so that guests can enjoy the underwater reefs, fish gathering points, sunken walls of the old town Sipar, underwater freshwater springs, and other curiosities. Here the program includes an attractive diving show with a professional diver who demonstrates his skills. In addition to daily sailing, underwater spotlights provide an attractive perspective of sea life at night.

Dolphin Watching from Umag at Sunset
Departure around 5:30 PM from the port of Umag (Obala Josipa Broza Tita, 52470, Umag, Croatia), aboard the Contesa boat. After departure, meet the crew and enjoy a welcome drink. The trip follows the coastline from Umag to Savudrija and then towards the Piran Bay. Look out for dolphins and take photos. Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed 100%. Return around 8:30 PM.

Trip from Savudrija: Sunset with Dolphins
Savudrija is a settlement within the city of Umag, located about 4 kilometers north of the tourist resort Apartments Polynesia Umag.
The trip is carried out by the boat Natasha, departing at 17:30 and returning at 19:30. The trip includes a 20-minute swim break. A detailed trip description is here.
The price is €30,00 for adults and includes: fruit, snacks, 2 drinks (wine, beer, fruit juice, iced tea), and a homemade teranino, plum brandy, or pelinkovac at the end of the trip.
Private speedboat trip from Umag
This trip is operated as a charter – the client rents the entire boat with a captain from 8:00 to 16:00. Maximum 8 passengers. Common routes include Vrsar with stops for swimming, lunch, etc. Spoken languages: Croatian and English.
The price is €900.00 per group. The price includes: high-powered speedboat, fuel, and skipper.
Umag
The town offers several kilometers of beaches, from which you can take beautiful postcards, and various possibilities (for example: ATP tennis tournament and sailing regattas). The gastronomic offer is rich and varied. The surrounding area offers beautiful landscapes such as Stara Savudrija, and Momjan with the Butori waterfall. Parking in the old town, however, is a problem. In case of arrival on a trip with departure from the port of Umag, start early enough! Parking fees are €1.3 to €1.5 per hour and €20 to €30 per day.
