Day Trip by Boat Melisa: Pula–Rovinj–Red Island

Trip Details

  • Departure from Pula port at 9:00 AM. Pier address: Ulica Riva 8, 52100 Pula.
  • Possible short stop in Fažana without disembarkation.
  • Arrival in Rovinj around 10:45 AM. Disembarkation and 2-hour break.
  • Guided tour of the old town with a licensed guide. City Gate – Via Grisia – Church of St. Euphemia.
  • Free time for about 90 minutes and return to the boat.
  • Lunch on board and ride to the pier on Red Island.
  • Free time for swimming and island walk for 2 hours.
  • Return to the boat and departure.
  • Arrival in Pula around 5:00 PM.

Book the Trip

  • Price is €50.00 for adults, €25.00 for children up to 14 years, and free for children up to 7 years old.
  • The price includes a licensed city guide for Rovinj (Croatian, German, English, and Italian) and lunch with drinks.
  • Lunch: grilled mackerel or chicken breast, salad, bread. Food is prepared on the boat grill right before lunch.
  • Drinks (unlimited during lunch): white wine, plain water or juice.
  • Vegetarian menu: vegetarian burger.
  • The crew communicates in Croatian and English.
  • Transfer to the boat (round trip) costs €5.00 per adult.

For trips departing from Pula port, the price is €50.00.

For trips including shuttle to the boat, the price is €55.00.

Boat Description, Trip Map and Photo Gallery

  • Melisa is a modern steel boat, 30 meters long and 7 meters wide.
  • The upper deck, located behind the command bridge, is covered with a sunshade. In front of the bridge, there's a sun terrace.
  • The boat has a total of 4 toilets.
  • There is an onboard bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the trip, so bringing your own drinks or snacks is not allowed.
  • The trip plan and the places visited are shown in slide 2. In case of congestion in Rovinj port, the captain may change the order of the route, first visiting Red Island and then Rovinj. Additionally, in case of adverse weather conditions, the captain may alter or cancel the trip.
