Sunset & dolphins: trip by boat Srebreno from Pula and Bi Village to Brijuni

This page describes an evening dolphin search excursion by the boat Srebreno. There are two planned embarkation points: Pula and Valbandon. Swimming stops and disembarking on Brijuni are not planned on this trip.

Trip details

  • Departure from the port of Pula around 17:00. Pier address: Ulica Svetog Petra bb, 52100 Pula. Meeting the crew.
  • After about 45 minutes of sailing, the boat arrives at the small harbour in Valbandon, next to the Bi Village campsite. Additional passengers embark. For passengers who embarked in Pula, there is no disembarkation here.
  • Dolphin search around the Brijuni archipelago. The main goal of the trip is not a panoramic cruise around all islands of the Brijuni archipelago, but to find dolphins.
  • Once we find the dolphins, there will be time to watch and photograph them.
  • After photographing the Brijuni archipelago and the sunset, a freshly prepared dinner is served on board.
  • Return to the small harbour in Valbandon.
  • After a total of about three and a half hours, the boat sails back to the port of Pula.

Advantages of this trip compared to other providers

  • Free and unlimited food and drinks during the trip.
  • Finding dolphins is never 100% guaranteed. However, in the summer of 2025, during calm sea conditions, dolphins were spotted on every excursion. In rough sea conditions, the success rate is much lower.
  • In case of unfavourable weather or sea conditions, the captain may cancel the excursion.

Disadvantages of this trip compared to other providers

  • For passengers embarking in the port of Pula, this excursion is slightly longer than some others.
  • Swimming or disembarking are not foreseen during this trip.

  • The price for adults is 45.00 €, 25.00 € for children up to 14 years and free of charge for children up to 7 years.
  • The price includes drinks during the whole cruise and dinner on board.
  • The price includes shuttle transfer to the boat and back.
  • Dinner: mackerel or grilled chicken (or turkey) breast, cabbage salad, bread. The food is freshly prepared on the grill on board, shortly before serving. A vegetarian meal should be requested when making the reservation.
  • Drinks (unlimited): white wine, mineral water and orange juice.
  • Srebreno is a wooden boat, 18 metres long. More information about the boat.
  • Drinks are not sold on board during the trip, but you are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks.
