Sunset over Brijuni with dolphins: boat trip Kralj Domagoj from Pula

Trip Details

Bus shuttle departures from 16:50 to 17:30.
Departure from Pula port at 18:00. Passengers coming to the boat on their own should arrive 30 minutes earlier. Pier address: Ulica Riva 8, 52100 Pula.
Meeting the crew. Searching for dolphins in the Brijuni archipelago. The aim of the trip is not a panoramic cruise around all islands of the Brijuni archipelago, but finding dolphins.
After dolphins are found, there is time for photography.
After photographing the Brijuni archipelago and the sunset, a freshly prepared dinner is served.
After three hours of sailing, the boat returns to Pula port.
Bus shuttles return passengers to the starting point by 21:30.

Advantages of this trip compared with other providers

Organized free transfer to the boat and back.
The boat is large and stable, with a mass of 200 t. When dolphins are found, passengers move to the side of the boat where the dolphins can be seen. The boat does not rock in a way that could scare the dolphins, so it can get close to them.
The upper terrace has a light railing, giving guests an excellent view of the sea surface.
The wheelhouse is high, so the captain has an excellent view of the open sea.
Because dolphins are free in their natural environment, finding them is not 100 % guaranteed. However, in summer 2025 dolphins were found on every trip in calm sea. In wavy sea, the results are much weaker.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the captain may cancel the trip.

Drinks are unlimited and free only during the meal.
There is no disembarkation or swimming during this trip.

Book the Trip

The price for adults is 45.00 €, 25.00 € for children up to 14 years and free for children up to 7 years.
The price includes dinner with drinks.
The price includes the shuttle to the boat and back.
Dinner: grilled mackerel and chicken or turkey breast, salad and bread. A vegetarian menu is also possible and must be announced in advance; it consists of seasonal grilled vegetables and bread. Food is prepared on the grill on board just before serving.
Drinks (unlimited during dinner): white wine, mineral water and orange juice.
Kralj Domagoj is a metal boat, 30 meters long and 5.15 meters wide.
The upper deck behind the wheelhouse is covered by an awning that protects from the sun.
The boat has a total of 2 toilets.
During the trip, the bar on board is open with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
